How Music Brought Brett Young Back To Baseball
Brett Young went through high school and college with his heart set on becoming a Major League Baseball pitcher.
But when an injury completely derailed his plans, he had no idea that country music would create a full circle moment for him back to baseball.
“But for anybody who doesn’t know, my baseball career ended before I got a chance to go on and play Major League Baseball. I had an elbow injury. And I always wished that that hadn’t happened that way. But then moving forward, I had this awesome opportunity to pursue music and have success and create a living playing music. And I would have never thought that that would have been the avenue that took me back into Major League Baseball because I’ve got a ton of pro baseball player friends because they’re huge country music fans.”
Brett Young will be at Caesars Windsor tonight with Buck Twenty opening the show at 7:45 p.m.
